Peki'in is a situated in the upper Galilee, approximately 7 kilometers west of Ma"alot and about 40 kilometers from the Sea of Galilee. The village has over 5000 residents the majority of whom are of the Druze community. The village attracts many tourists and there are a number of Israeli heritage sites such as an ancient synagogue, and furthermore the locals have set up a number of Zimmers and guest houses there which specialize in authentic Druze lodging including traditional Druze dishes.
