Hermon Field School

Hermon Field School is located a 5 minute walk from the Banyas River, which flows year round; the surrounding area is known for its network of crisscrossing streams. Hermon Field School also serves as tour guide headquarters for the Hermon region with trained nature guides offering group and private tours. Visit SPNI's Beit Ussishkin Museum, a unique nature museum featuring exhibits, nature films and activities for all ages. A short drive takes you to rock climbing, rappelling, cable cars with a view of the entire region, a roller coaster, hiking and white water rafting.

Seen here: a museum exhibit in the field school itself -- the Hermon, with its great waterfalls and Hula Valley, is truly packed with fun things to do - but one of the reasons SPNI is always willing to create new projects there, like the bird banding station, is that this place has been a major hub of eco-education for a long time.

Making a difference -- Hermon Field School promotes the campaign to protect the three major streams that run into the Jordan River and facilitates the protection of Mount Hermon’s unique flora. Mount Hermon is the tallest mountain in Israel.
