Kibbutz Lavi was founded in 1949 by members of British Bnei Akiva. It is situated in the area allocated to the tribe of Naphtali in the Eastern Galilee on slopes which lead to the Sea of Galilee - Lake Kinneret. It is 313 metres above sea level and is a ten minute drive from the neighboring city of Tiberias.

Lavi Kibbutz Hotel was founded in 1962 and started out as a collection of small houses in the kibbutz. In a relatively short period a small hotel was established.
Lavi Kibbutz Hotel is run and maintained by members of the kibbutz. Here you can experience a combination of high standard hotel service steeped in a kibbutz atmosphere.
