The Castle” was built around the 11th century, in the period of the crusaders and is strategically positioned on the highest place in Kerem Maharal, on the Eastern slopes of the Carmel mountain range. The site is located between Haifa and Tel-Aviv, a short drive away from the beach and reveals the beautiful views of Kerem Maharal, The Carmel mountain and the mediterranean sea.
“The Castle” was built on an archeological barrow, which goes back all the way to 1st Temple era.
The site has been reconstructed by us over many years and was restored to its original state, while paying meticulous attention to preserving its original beauty and character. It is the only structure of its period which is privately owned and which has been reconstructed and designed as a private residence and guest suites.
We have recently completed the reconstruction of the second floor, containing the two large private suites (The Pink Room and The Purple Room), an exquisite adjoining lobby with a fully equipped kitchen and a huge open terrace with breathtaking views..
The royalty of the suites is authentic to this day; The combination of the original space, the thick stone walls and curved arcs, with the modern accessories, allows all the comfort needed for a true vacation and for taking a time out, in a place which is beyond time..
